Gabriel Jesus on mobility scooter as Man City ace recovers from injury

The bad news for Manchester City fans is that it looks like Gabriel Jesus will be out of action for some time after suffering a medial ligament injury in December.

The good news is that it's afforded the Brazilian striker ample chance to revisit one of his favourite pastimes: zooming around his local shopping mall on a mobility scooter.

De role na quebrada 🎢🏎

A post shared by Gabriel Jesus (@dejesusoficial) on

After breaking a metatarsal last February, Jesus was spotted zipping around the Trafford Centre in Manchester the following month.

Now, nearly a year later, the 20-year-old has clambered back atop his mighty steed and ventured back to the mall for another round of motorised shopping.

All well and good, but Pep Guardiola is probably hoping this doesn't become an annual thing.

Chris covers the funny side of the game for ESPN FC in the Toe Poke blog.
