Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata pays visit to old school in Madrid

Alvaro Morata took time from his busy schedule to visit his old school in Madrid and train one of the school youth teams before joining Spain's squad this week.

His old school "El Prado" was thrilled to have the Spain international on hand. The Madrid-born Morata studied at El Prado school since he was three and it was there where he started to show his goalscoring ability.

Colegio El Prado tweeted: "We couldn't have asked for a better coach than Alvaro Morata. This afternoon we shared the pitch with this star. Thank you!"

Another tweet from the school read: "Thank you Alvaro Morata for making this training session for the children from your school unforgettable. How lucky are we!"

Richi Marquez, a friend of Morata since they were three years old, is the coach of the El Prado school youth football team and told Cadena Cope: "It was a surprise. We hadn't told the children. I called 'Alvarete' and asked him if he could come to train the boys. He spent one hour and thirty minutes training with the boys.

"Their eyes lit up as if the Three Wise Men had come. It was something spectacular. The boys really enjoyed having 'Alvarete' close by. It's not the same to get a pass from me than from Alvaro Morata. The parents of the children were amazed."
