Liverpool fan and WWE star Sheamus trolls Manchester crowd

The WWE Raw bandwagon rolled into Manchester on Monday night as part of their current UK house show tour.

Given the location, the stage was set for Irish star Sheamus -- a big Liverpool fan -- to earn himself a bit of cheap heat.

Indeed, after winning the tag team title earlier in the show, Sheamus later emerged from the back to celebrate with his partner Cesaro while both wearing full Liverpool kits.

Unsurprisingly, they were met with a chorus of boos from the arena crowd.

What's more, the pair proceeded to perform a full-bodied rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone", which, as you might expect, didn't go down particularly well with the predominantly Mancunian audience.

Sheamus also nailed his club colours to the mast earlier that day when he and Cesaro embarked on a VIP tour of Manchester City's home turf.

"At the Etihad Stadium showing Man City how The Reds set the bar," he growled on Twitter.

Put it this way, would you want to politely ask the 6-foot-3, mohawk-wearing behemoth to change his shirt?

Chris covers the funny side of the game for ESPN FC in the Toe Poke blog.
