No doubt attracted by the prospect of witnessing Gareth Barry set a new Premier League appearance record, several members of the New Orleans Saints roster made their way to the Emirates on Monday evening.

Led by quarter-back Drew Brees, the Saints made their way across North London to the stadium in order to take in their first ever Premier League encounter, namely Arsenal against West Brom.

Brees and the chaps ultimately picked a fine first match to attend, with the Gunners coming out on top in a thoroughly entertaining 2-0 victory thanks to a brace of goals from Alexandre Lacazette.

The Saints' focus now shifts to a crunch tie of their own against Miami Dolphins, with the two sides meeting in the NFL International Series at Wembley Stadium this coming Sunday.

Chris covers the funny side of the game for ESPN FC in the Toe Poke blog.
