Brazil's Neymar and Philippe Coutinho prank Selecao mascot Canarinho

Neymar and Philippe Coutinho were up to no good in Brazil training.
Neymar and Philippe Coutinho were up to no good in Brazil training.

Neymar and Philippe Coutinho are with the Brazil national team, limbering up for a World Cup qualifier against Colombia this coming week.

However, during the pregame training session, the pair set aside a little time to prank the Selecao's official mascot, Canarinho the man-sized canary.

Indeed, Neymar and Coutinho teamed up to topple Canarinho using the oldest trick in the book: a true classic from the playbook of every mischievous schoolboy.

Brazil coach Tite will no doubt be hoping his star pairing combine with equally devastating effect in Barranquilla on Tuesday evening.

Chris covers the funny side of the game for ESPN FC in the Toe Poke blog.
