Barcelona's Gerard Pique duets with Pikotaro on 'Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen'
Gerard Pique is currently on ambassadorial duty for Barcelona out in Asia, where he and several of his teammates have been participating in a whirlwind tour of commercial engagements.
Specifically speaking, Pique is in Japan at the moment, where Barca are scheduled to announce a huge new sponsorship deal with Rakuten at a big corporate event on Wednesday.
However, it's not like the 30-year-old defender hasn't been able to mix business with pleasure, as his recent meeting with Japanese pop singer Pikotaro duly proves.
Pique posted a video of himself performing a karaoke duet of Pikotaro's huge and utterly bizarre novelty hit "PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen)", which recently went viral in his home country.
For the uninitiated, the song is basically about inserting stationery into fruit and then dancing.
In short, Shakira has nothing to worry about when it comes to being the best singer in the Pique household.
