Zenit stalwart Nico Lombaerts gets cool leaving gift after 10 year career
After 10 years of loyal service, veteran centre-back Nicolas Lombaerts is set to leave Zenit St Petersburg this summer and return to his native Belgium.
Indeed, the 32-year-old has already agreed a deal to join KV Oostende when his contract expires so, going into his final home game of the season, Zenit laid on a special farewell for the departing defender.

Lombaerts watched on from the bench as the Zenit fans said their goodbyes during Wednesday evening's tie against Krasnodar.
This included the unfurling of a huge banner in the stands at the Stadion Krestovskyi which read "You Are Zenit" in tribute to their long-serving stalwart and a standing ovation when he entered the fray in the 90th minute.
Zenit also presented Lombaerts with a special custom shirt, made up of all 10 of the home jerseys he's worn with pride over the course of his time in Russia.
Something tells us if they put that thing on sale in their club shop, they'd make a fortune overnight!
