Real Salt Lake's Luis Silva tries to initiate in-game snowball fight

With snow falling in Utah and temperatures down around freezing, Saturday's MLS clash between Real Salt Lake and the Vancouver Whitecaps was something of a whiteout.

One man who didn't take well to the conditions was Real midfielder Luis Silva, who came on for the last 10 minutes and quite literally struggled to get a foothold in the match.

Indeed, after being dispossessed and falling over in the snow, Silva exacted his revenge by throwing a sneaky snowball at Whitecaps defender Tim Parker.

Being a rough, tough central defender, Parker simply shrugged the snowball off and went about his business.

The home side went on to win 3-0, with goals from Albert Rusnak, Yura Movsisyan and Luke Mulholland proving to be the difference at the Rio Tinto Stadium.
