Yannick Bolasie joy as DR Congo beat Ivory Coast at African Nations Cup

As you may have heard, holders Ivory Coast went crashing out of the African Nations Cup at the group stage after losing out to Morocco on Tuesday night.

That came in the wake of a 2-2 draw against DR Congo in their preceding game that pretty much resigned The Elephants to their fate.

While unable to take part in the tournament due to injury, Yannick Bolasie was able to roar his Congolese countrymen on from his sofa at home.

Indeed, the Everton man posted his reaction to the Ivory Coast game on his personal YouTube channel, casting his crutches aside to scream and writhe around while his teammates pulled off a famous result.

As the man himself admits, Bolasie actually came perilously close to re-injuring his knee at one point.

Here's hoping the Toffees' medical staff weren't watching.

Chris covers the funny side of the game for ESPN FC in the Toe Poke blog.
