Trasandino keeper Fabian Cerda angry after dog makes save
A minor row has flared up down in the lower reaches of the Chilean football system after a dog ran onto the pitch and made a save during the recent third division match between Trasandino and Deportes Melipilla.
Strangely, the dissension is actually between the aforementioned dog and Trasandino keeper Fabian Cerda, who has since taken umbrage at his canine companion receiving undue plaudits for making a save when the shot in question wasn't actually on target.
"It was going wide so I left it on purpose," Cerda grumbled to the local press.
"Now people say the dog saved the goal, the dog this, the dog that. It bothers me."
Sounds like a textbook case of woof justice to us!
