Brazil and Barcelona icon Ronaldinho performs Paralympics anthem

Following hot on the heels of the summer games, the 2016 Paralympics are set to get underway in Rio de Janeiro this week.

Having been appointed as an ambassador for the games, Ronaldinho has taken his duties seriously and produced an official anthem to help inspire Team Brazil.

Indeed, the 36-year-old announced the release of his latest musical masterpiece on social media.

And so, without further ado, here's the finished article: a catchy little ditty entitled "Eu sou do mundo, um vencedor".

That translates as "From this world I am, I am a winner," and sees Ronaldinho pitching in for a heavily auto-tuned verse here and there. We'd suggest Senhor Gaucho doesn't give up his day job, but we're not entirely sure what that is any more.

Chris covers the funny side of the game for ESPN FC in the Toe Poke blog.
