Ferdinand: Ronaldo's Man United teammates mocked his tight jeans

After Cristiano Ronaldo said at a recent news conference that he didn't have much of a relationship with many of his Manchester United teammates during his time at Old Trafford, one of said teammates has hit back.

Rio Ferdinand, who Ronaldo played with under Sir Alex Ferguson from 2003-09, jokingly said the senior players at the club talked to the young CR7 all the time, although most of the time "he didn't get it" that the joke was on him ... and his tight jeans.

Ferdinand told BT Sport: "He's gone off me! He used to live next door to me. Unbelievable! He didn't like my cooking."

"That [the Ronaldo news conference] just shows the emotion he's got in him and the desire to win and the desire to get back on top. At the moment everyone's talking about Barcelona, and he's not happy with that. And that's his competitive streak coming out.

"I actually used to take the mick out of him in the changing rooms, I think he's got the hump. He used to come in in tight jeans and we used to murder him. He didn't get it."
