Man United vs. Tottenham could be full of goals, Salah and Lukaku can find the net

Our midweek column was unlucky with its correct score pick in the game between Bournemouth and Manchester United but could still turn a profit provided Leicester beat Southampton on Thursday night. The FA Cup semifinals dominate the landscape this weekend, including Manchester United's clash with Tottenham.

Running total: -£52.98

The Home Banker

United have been drawn as the home team for this FA Cup semi despite the fact Spurs have been playing at Wembley this season while White Hart Lane is being renovated. And one wonders whether the bookmakers have made a rare error of judgement in pricing up Tottenham as short odds favourites here. Jose Mourinho's men showed just what the were capable of when turning around the Manchester derby a few weeks ago, and know this competition represents their last shot at silverware this season. Both teams to score is a 3/4 shout and looks banker material given both teams have scored in 11 of the last 12 Wembley semifinals.

Selection: £4 on both teams to score at 3/4 with bet365

The Tasty Treble

Chelsea's season has been one to forget but it's worth remembering they have won three FA Cups in the last decade and look worthy hot pots at 4/9 to beat Southampton on Sunday. The Saints have failed to impress since Mark Hughes took over and look increasingly likely to be playing Championship football next season. Elsewhere in the Premier League, Arsenal (8/15) should be too good for West Ham at the Emirates. The Gunners have scored three times in each of their last three home games and can ease past a West Ham side who have shipped 38 goals away from home this season. Add in Burnley (23/10) to beat Stoke for a treble paying better than 6/1 with bet365. The Clarets have won their last three on the road and look to be finishing the season strongly.

Selection: £3 on the treble at 6.3/1 with bet365

The Euro Wager

Juventus face Napoli on Saturday evening knowing a win would virtually secure another Serie A title. Juve are currently four points clear at the top and given their form in 2018 look a great bet at odds against in Turin.

Selection: £3 on Juventus to win at 11/10 with bet365

The Wildcard Tip

Liverpool travel to West Brom on Saturday and the rampant Reds are fancied to get revenge on the Baggies, who knocked Jurgen Klopp's men out of the FA Cup in January. This should be a game that features goals given that both teams have scored in each of the Baggies' last six home games but preference is for Liverpool, with one of the most lethal attacking units around, to get the job done.

Selection: £2.50 on Liverpool to win and both teams to score at 11/5 with bet365

The Bookie Basher

Mohamed Salah notched his 40th goal in just 45 games for Liverpool against Bournemouth and he looks hard to ignore at 100/30 to score first against West Brom on Saturday. The Egyptian is in the box seat to finish the season as Premier League top scorer and will see a trip to basement boys West Brom as a perfect opportunity to add to his tally. Take Salah with Romelu Lukaku (6/1) to notch first against Spurs for a first goalscorer double paying just shy of 30/1.

Selection: £2 on Salah - Lukaku FGS double at 29.33/1 with bet365
