Barcelona, Real Madrid set to bring goals to first Clasico in U.S.

Neymar and Casemiro
Lionel Messi scored the winner the last time Barcelona played Real Madrid.

El Clasico lands at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami this weekend as Real Madrid and Barcelona lock horns for the first ever time on U.S. soil. It is the final stop on both teams' respective American tours ahead of another hugely anticipated season in Spain.

Real Madrid outshone their Catalan rivals last term, winning La Liga and Champions League titles, so Barcelona might view this as an early chance to strike a blow against their biggest and most bitter opponents.

Celtic's tough test

Celtic continue their Champions League qualifying campaign when they face Rosenborg in a third round first leg clash at Celtic Park on Wednesday. The Hoops eased past Linfield in the last round but should find the Norwegian champions a much tougher nut to crack.

The Trondheim outfit needed extra time to get past Irish side Dundalk in the second round and in truth didn't look great over two legs, but will...

Lukaku to score more than once in the U.S. rendition of the Manchester derby?

It didn't take Romelu Lukaku long to bag his first United goal, as he scored earlier this week against Real Salt Lake.

One of the great European club derbies arrives in the United States this week, when Manchester City face Manchester United in the International Champions Cup. The Blues take on the Red Devils overseas for the first time at the NRG Stadium in Houston, and fans will be anxious to get a glimpse of those expensive summer squad additions.

Celtic continue their run through Champions League

On Wednesday, Celtic look to complete the job they started on Friday by beating Linfield at Celtic Park. Goals from Scott Sinclair and Tommy Rogic helped the Hoops take control of this second qualifying round Champions League tie and it would take a brave man to bet against them this week. It wasn't a vintage Celtic display but they proved they are a level or two above the Northern Irish...

Celtic poised to kick off UCL qualifying with a comfortable win over Linfield

Scott Brown lifts the Scottish Cup after Celtic had beaten Aberdeen at Hampden Park.
Celtic should be focused after learning their lesson against Lincoln Red Imps last year in UCL qualifying.

Here's a look at the best bets in the Champions League and Gold Cup ...

Celtic to learn lessons

Celtic hit the Champions League qualifying trail this week when they face Linfield on Friday.

The Bhoys ended the 2016-17 campaign on a 33-game unbeaten run, with their last defeat coming in Europe against Barcelona way back on Nov. 23.

However, Brendan Rodgers will demand his team give Linfield the respect they deserve, especially considering what happened during his first game as Celtic boss at...

Mexico set to kick off Gold Cup campaign with win over El Salvador

Herculez Gomez joins SportsCenter to break down the 2017 Gold Cup and his early favourites.
Herculez Gomez says Juan Carlos Osorio's six-match ban puts him in a difficult position ahead of Mexico's Gold Cup run.
Antonio Valle reports on the addition of Erick "Cubo" Torres to Mexico's squad for the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Herculez Gomez believes Cubo Torres could fill the void for Mexico in the Gold Cup after Alan Pulido went down with injury.

The CONCACAF Gold Cup action continues this week where on Monday holders Mexico take on El Salvador.

Due to Mexico's first XI only recently returning from Confederations Cup duty in Russia this squad is comprised entirely of home-based players, but they are still favourites to see off a Salvadoran side who have yet to get past the quarterfinal stage at this event in nine previous attempts. In contrast, no team has enjoyed more Gold Cup success than Mexico, who have been victorious on seven occasions...
