Hermann Gerland and Jochen Sauer will head Bayern Munich's new academy, which is set to open this summer.
Bayern's academy, located a short distance away from the Bavarians' Allianz Arena stadium, is due to be completed at a cost of between €70-90 million.
And the long-serving Gerland, 62, currently Carlo Ancelotti's assistant manager, will oversee the sporting side of operations.
"It's unbelievable what has sprung up near the Allianz Arena," Gerland said. "I'm looking forward to using my experience with young players and playing a part in this exciting project."
Sauer, 44, previously CEO for over four years at RB Salzburg, will assume the running of administrative matters at the academy.
"I thank Bayern for the confidence placed in me and I'm looking forward to the challenge," he said.
In a major reshuffle of the youth system, former Basel head coach, Heiko Vogel, previously in charge of the reserves and all youth sides from under 16 upwards, will leave the German champions at the end of the season "by mutual consent," when department head Wolfgang Dremmler also heads into retirement.
Speaking last year about Bayern's new state-of-the-art facility, CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said it will be the "longest and hardest five kilometres in Munich" and added: "It's a long, steep, rocky road to the Allianz Arena -- but it's worth it in the end."
Current Bayern captain Philipp Lahm, the club's record Champions League goal scorer Thomas Muller and former midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger all hail from Bavaria and became elite players at Munich.
