Arturo Vidal has said he is very happy at Bayern Munich and played down rumours of a possible reunion with his old Juventus boss Antonio Conte at Chelsea.
In recent weeks, Chile international Vidal has been quoted by English media outlets as saying: "I have always said if I go to war I would take Conte with me."
And El Pais quoted Conte, who takes over at Stamford Bridge after Euro 2016, as saying: "I want to have him on every of my teams."
But in an interview with Chilean paper BioBio this week, Vidal clarified his stance.
"I am very happy here [at Bayern]," he said. "I have to think of my family, and I have a long-term contract here."
Vidal, 28, joined the Bundesliga champions from the Biancenori on a four-year deal last summer, with the German side paying €37 million for him.
He has since become an important factor in Pep Guardiola's side, and scored on Tuesday as Bayern beat Benfica 1-0 in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal.
