Xherdan Shaqiri and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg uncertain on Bayern futures

Bayern Munich midfielders Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Xherdan Shaqiri have reiterated that they could imagine themselves leaving the Bundesliga champions during the winter transfer window.

Shaqiri, 23, has been linked with an exit since the summer, when Bayern vetoed a possible 20 million-euro transfer to Liverpool.

This season, the Switzerland international has started only four of the club's 19 competitive matches, and did not start in this week's 3-2 Champions League defeat at Manchester City despite Pep Guardiola's decision to rest Mario Gotze and Thomas Muller.

Speaking after the match, he told kicker: "It's just normal that you are not happy when you are not playing. Let's see if I'll still be here for the round of 16. We will sit down and talk in the winter."

On Tuesday, Bayern's honorary president Franz Beckenbauer told Sky the club "have already signalled to him that he can probably leave in the winter break if he wants to."

Denmark international Hojbjerg, 19, could be another midfielder leaving the Allianz Arena, telling kicker earlier this month "it's about time to cut a different path" after he was linked with a switch to Hannover.

But Hannover's interest cooled following Philipp Lahm's long-term injury, with the club believing Bayern would not sell a possible replacement.

On Tuesday, Hojbjerg played the 90 minutes at City but told kicker his agent Soren Lerby would hold talks with Bayern and "discuss everything with respect."

"Of course, it's normal that as a 19-year-old you get out there and say that you want to make the next step. But that's football. We all have ambitions," he added.

"I am not angry, and I am not impatient with the coach or the board -- and I think that's the same the other way round."
