Bayer Leverkusen sign goalkeeper Ramazan Ozcan from Ingolstadt

Bayer Leverkusen have completed the signing of Austrian goalkeeper Ramazan Ozcan from Bundesliga rivals Ingolstadt.

The 31-year-old moves to the BayArena on a three-year contract and leaves Ingolstadt after five seasons in which he helped the club gain promotion to the German top flight for the first time.

"With Ramazan Ozcan we have gained a proven goalkeeper both in the Bundesliga and on the international stage,'' sporting director Rudi Voller told Leverkusen's official website.

"He brings a lot of experience and match practice and is therefore an ideal addition to our number one Bernd Leno.''

Ozcan will join up with his new teammates after Euro 2016, with rival Leno also at the European Championships with Germany.

"This is a special step to a Champions League contender,'' he said. "To be in that competition is the dream of every footballer.

"I'll get involved in Leverkusen with all my strength and support Bernd Leno as best I can.''
