Bayer Leverkusen's Javier Hernandez is not going anywhere - Jonas Boldt

Bayer Leverkusen squad manager Jonas Boldt has said the club are "100 percent" confident that Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez will stay.

Hernandez, 27, joined Leverkusen on a three-year contract from Manchester United last August, with the Mexico international impressing in his first season in Germany.

He scored 26 goals in 38 matches in all competitions, with 17 of those coming in the Bundesliga.

Next season, Bayer will play Champions League football for a fourth consecutive campaign after a run of seven consecutive league wins saw them finish third.

"We know that Chicharito feels incredibly good here," Boldt told Bild.

The player has dismissed links with Bayern Munich and, asked how certain he was that he would stay, Boldt said: "One hundred percent, because he has never said that he wants to leave.

He has no ambitions to make a move -- quite the opposite."

Even if Hernandez were to change his mind, Leverkusen would remain in pole position, Boldt added, saying: "He has a contract."
