A Bastia fan has been given an 18-month stadium ban and a fine for hitting Paris Saint-Germain's Lucas Moura with a flagpole during the teams' Ligue 1 game in August.
Jean-Michel Magurno, 25, was also fined €1,500 for the incident, which occurred when Lucas took a corner during PSG's 1-0 win in Corsica on Aug. 12.
Magurno pleaded guilty and expressed remorse for the incident, claiming he had no intention of injuring the Brazil international, whom he struck with a flexible plastic pole used to wave a Bastia flag.
Bastia had already banned Magurno from home games until the end of the season.
Lucas, who had condemned the action as "disgraceful and totally unacceptable" in a Twitter post hours after the game, had been accused by Bastia of exaggerating by collapsing to the turf.
Lamentable, tout simplement inadmissible ce qui est arrivé aujourd'hui à Bastia et ça s'empire à chaque année.

"We went to the security suite: there was no blow delivered to the player," Bastia's organisation and security director, Antoine Agostini, had said immediately after the game.
"He rolled around on the ground. The LFP [Ligue de Football Professionnel] will look into the matter and will show the player was not struck. All of the video angles show the player wasn't hit."
As punishment, Bastia were fined €20,000 and ordered to close part of their Stade Armand Cesari for one home game earlier this season by the LFP.
