Bastia president Pierre-Marie Geronimi has been suspended from all official duties for a month over his behaviour towards a referee.
The punishment relates to September's Ligue 1 clash with Lyon at the Stade Gerland, which was refereed by Benoit Bastien.
A disciplinary commission statement said the case was regarding the "behaviour of Pierre-Marie Geronimi, president of SC Bastia, towards the referee at half-time and the resumption of the second period."
Bastia lost the game 2-0 and had Francois Kamano sent off just before the interval, the striker being shown a straight red card following an altercation with Lyon defender Samuel Umtiti.
