Chelsea celebrated Tottenham draw like they'd won Prem - Harry Kane

Tottenham striker Harry Kane says Chelsea celebrated Monday's 2-2 draw with Spurs as if they, and not Leicester, had won the Premier League.

The result at Stamford Bridge ended Tottenham's title challenge and handed the league crown to Claudio Ranieri's Foxes.

Kane scored the opener en route to a 2-0 half-time lead for Spurs. However a goal from Gary Cahill and a late strike by Eden Hazard sent the Blues and their fans into a frenzy as they celebrated a decisive result against their London rivals.

"When the ex-champions are celebrating like they won the league at the end, it shows that we're doing something right," Kane told the BBC after the game.

"We've just got to keep doing what we're doing, we've got a great bunch of lads, a great manager, great staff and we've just got to keep that and keep moving forward."

Tottenham, who sit second behind Leicester in the table, were hoping to win their first Premier League title since 1961. Despite his disappointment, Kane congratulated the newly crowned champions on their historic feat.

"We're gutted. We've had a great season. Credit to Leicester. Well done to them for winning the league. They've been fantastic this season," Kane said.

"We done all we could, we fought until the end, but it's something we've got to learn from.

"I'm proud of everyone, I'm proud of the club and we've just got to keep moving in the right direction, finish the season off well now and look forward to next season."
