SATURDAY'S MATCHES

CHELSEA

Chelsea captain John Terry is still recovering from a hamstring strain and is not ready to face Stoke. Blues manager Guus Hiddink, however, confirmed Diego Costa would sart against the Potters after previously suggesting the striker might be rested, while Kenedy's groin problem will be assessed. Collins underwent a scan on the injury sustained in the 1-0 victory over Tottenham on Wednesday and while the results have yet to be confirmed, he is unlikely to appear again until after the next international break. Apart from Collins, all the players present in the squad for Spurs will be travelling to Goodison with Victor Moses, Winston Reid (hamstring), Joey O'Brien (hamstring), James Tomkins (calf), Enner Valencia (ankle) and Sam Bryam (suspended) still out.

Provisional squad: Adrian, Randolph, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Oxford, Henry, Noble, Kouyate, Song, Obiang, Moses, Lanzini, Payet, Antonio, Carroll, Emenike, Sakho, Parfitt-Williams.

MANCHESTER CITY

Yaya Toure is set to return. The Ivory Coast midfielder missed the midweek defeat at Liverpool with a foot injury sustained in the Capital One Cup final last Sunday. City have no fresh injury concerns, leaving just long-term absentees Kevin De Bruyne, Samir Nasri and Fabian Delph on the sidelines.

Aston Villa have no new injury worries. Rudy Gestede could start after coming off the bench to score in Tuesday's 3-1 defeat to Everton but Charles N'Zogbia remains out of boss Remi Garde's plans despite being fit.

Provisional squad: Guzan, Bunn, Hutton, Richards, Clark, Lescott, Okore, Richardson, Cissokho, Bacuna, Gil, Westwood, Gana, Veretout, Lyden, Agbonlahor, Sinclair, Gestede, Ayew.

NEWCASTLE

Andros Townsend remains a doubt for relegation-threatened Newcastle. The former Tottenham winger missed Wednesday night's 1-0 defeat at Stoke with a hamstring problem and will not be risked on Saturday if he is not 100 per cent fit, but midfielder Siem de Jong is available after an eye problem. Skipper Fabricio Coloccini is also being assessed as he fights his way back from a calf problem, while keeper Tim Krul (knee), defenders Chancel Mbemba (ankle), Massadio Haidara (knee) and Kevin Mbabu (thigh) and midfielder Gabriel Obertan (hamstring) remain on the sidelines.

BOURNEMOUTH

Bournemouth have concerns over midfielder Harry Arter and forward Joshua King with calf problems. Midfielder Junior Stanislas missed the midweek win over Southampton with a hamstring injury, and remains a doubt. Provisional squad: Boruc, Smith, Daniels, Cook, Francis, Gradel, Ritchie, Surman, Arter, King, Afobe, Federici, Grabban, Gosling, Murray, Distin, Elphick, Pugh.

SOUTHAMPTON

Southampton will be without strikers Charlie Austin and Shane Long. Both suffered injuries during Tuesday's defeat to Bournemouth and Austin (hamstring) has been ruled out for up to four weeks while Long (knee) is also absent for Sunderland's visit, although he is expected to be available to face Stoke next weekend. Saints manager Ronald Koeman is still without injured duo Jay Rodriguez (ankle) and Florin Gardos (knee).

Provisional squad: Forster, Stekelenburg, Gazzaniga, K Davis, Martina, Van Dijk, Fonte, Yoshida, Soares, Bertrand, Clasie, Targett, Ward-Prowse, Romeu, S Davis, Tadic, Mane, Juanmi.

SUNDERLAND

Sunderland skipper John O'Shea is expected to be fit for Saturday's trip to Southampton. The 34-year-old limped off during the first half of Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace complaining of a tight calf muscle, but scans have shown the damage is not as bad as was first feared and he should make the squad. However, Lee Cattermole, who was left with concussion and stitches after a clash of heads with Palace's Jordon Mutch, will not, and nor will fellow midfielder Jeremain Lens as he continues his recovery from hernia surgery, while striker Duncan Watmore will be sidelined for some time by an ankle ligament problem.

Provisional squad: Mannone, Pickford, Van Aanholt, Yedlin, O'Shea, Jones, Kone, Kaboul, Brown, Kirchhoff, M'Vila, Khazri, Borini, Rodwell, Toivonen, Larsson, Defoe, N'Doye.

NORWICH

Norwich could be without Alex Tettey for the rest of the season with the midfielder set for an operation on his injured ankle. Tettey will definitely be missing for the Canaries' trip to Swansea on Saturday. Robbie Brady lost teeth in a clash of heads with Gary O'Neil, who was left with a deep gash, during the midweek home defeat by Chelsea, but both are expected to be available at the Liberty Stadium. Forward Steven Naismith was rested against Chelsea because of fatigue, but should return to the squad, along with centre-half Sebastien Bassong and on-loan Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford, who was ineligible to face his parent club. Defender Andre Wisdom, on loan from Liverpool, remains out with a knee problem.

Provisional squad: Ruddy, Pinto, Klose, Bassong, Martin, Brady, Howson, Hoolahan, Redmond, O'Neil, Jerome, Rudd, Bennett, Mbokani, Jarvis, Dorrans, Olsson, Mulumbu, Naismith, Bamford.

SWANSEA

Swansea are set to restore the regulars who were rested for the midweek victory at Arsenal. Angel Rangel, Federico Fernandez, Neil Taylor, Leon Britton, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Alberto Paloschi all are available for the crunch Premier League relegation battle at home to Norwich after being stood down for the shock 2-1 win at the Emirates. Swansea head coach Francesco Guidolin will miss the game as he has been in hospital with a chest infection since Wednesday, and doctors have advised the Italian needs extra time to continue his recovery.

WATFORD

Watford defender Craig Cathcart looks set to miss out after failing to recover from a calf injury. Cathcart missed the trip to Manchester United on Wednesday night, and manager Quique Sanchez Flores does not expect him to be ready in time for the tea-time kick-off against the Foxes. Provisional squad: Gomes, Pantilimon, Britos, Paredes, Holebas, Behrami, Capoue, Watson, Ighalo, Deeney, Abdi, Nyom, Amrabat, Anya, Prodl, Guedioura, Suarez.

LEICESTER

Leicester could have N'Golo Kante back. Kante had initially been expected to miss the game this weekend due to the hamstring injury that ruled him out of the 2-2 draw with West Brom on Tuesday, but boss Claudio Ranieri has revealed the midfielder has a chance of featuring. Ranieri has also confirmed goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, who reportedly played against Albion with a minor back injury, will be available.

Provisional squad: Schmeichel, Schwarzer, Simpson, Amartey, Morgan, Huth, Wasilewski, Schlupp, Fuchs, Drinkwater, Kante, Inler, King, Gray, Mahrez, Albrighton, Vardy, Okazaki, Ulloa.

CRYSTAL PALACE

Connor Wickham and Wayne Hennessey will undergo late fitness tests. Striker Wickham is suffering with a thigh injury, while goalkeeper Hennessey could be replaced by Julian Speroni if he is not passed fit. Pape Souare will start after returning from suspension, with Martin Kelly expected to be dropped, leaving only James McArthur and Jason Puncheon -- expected to return to training on Monday -- as Pardew's other absentees.

LIVERPOOL

Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a thigh strain. Striker Daniel Sturridge will return to the starting line-up with Philippe Coutinho also expected back after both were rested for the midweek win over Manchester City. Manager Jurgen Klopp has to decide whether to stick with the same defence - with right-back Nathaniel Clyne switched to the left to allow Jon Flanagan to play - or restore genuine left-sided player Alberto Moreno despite a poor display at Wembley last weekend.

WEST BROM

A hamstring injury has kept the defender out of the Baggies' past two fixtures and boss Tony Pulis has confirmed he will not feature, along with his Northern Ireland colleague Chris Brunt, who found out this week he will miss the next six months having ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament. Pulis will also be without Callum McManaman (ankle) and James Morrison (hamstring) for the visit of Louis van Gaal's men.

Provisional squad: Foster, Myhill, Gamboa, Pocognoli, McAuley, Olsson, Chester, Dawson, Sandro, Pritchard, Fletcher, Yacob, McClean, Sessegnon, Gardner, Rondon, Berahino, Lambert, Anichebe.

MANCHESTER UNITED

Chris Smalling could return for Manchester United at West Brom, where Phil Jones, Antonio Valencia and Marouane Fellaini may also be involved. Jones (ankle), Valencia (foot) and Fellaini (hamstring) will also be assessed as they make their return from injury, with manager Louis van Gaal to decide whether to use them or let them improve their fitness with the under-21s on Monday.
