Massimiliano Allegri happy at Juventus amid Chelsea links - agent

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is happy at the club despite reports he could leave to become the next Chelsea manager this summer, the Italian's agent has said.

Chelsea have enjoyed a resurgence since the return of Guus Hiddink on an interim basis in December, losing just one of 13 matches in all competitions under the guidance of the experienced Dutchman.

But Hiddink insists he will not remain in charge at Stamford Bridge beyond the end of the season and Allegri -- along with Italy coach Antonio Conte and Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone -- was widely reported to be among the front-runners to take over in the summer.

Allegri led Juventus to a historic Serie A and Coppa Italia Double last season, also losing the Champions League final to Barcelona, and his team head into Tuesday's round-of-16 first-leg clash with Bayern Munich on a 16-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

Juventus chief executive Giuseppe Marotta last week dismissed speculation that Allegri could join Chelsea and now the Italian's agent, Giovanni Branchini, insists his client has no desire to leave Turin.

"Allegri will stay where he is. He is happy at Juve," Branchini told Tuttosport. "Without doubt Juve now are among the top clubs like Bayern [Munich], Real Madrid and Barcelona.

"This was made clear last year when Allegri's team reached the Champions League final -- and it has been confirmed this season."

In the wake of Sunday's 5-1 win over Manchester City in the FA Cup fifth round, Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel said that "99 percent" of the Blues squad want Hiddink to stay on as manager next season.

On Monday, sources told ESPN FC that Juventus have identified outgoing Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini as Allegri's replacement if the Italian decides to leave the club for Chelsea.
