Man stabbed outside White Hart Lane discharged from hospital

A 35-year-old man who was stabbed outside White Hart Lane on Sunday has been discharged from hospital, West Ham's website has said.

The incident happened at approximately 3 p.m. ahead of Tottenham's Premier League match with West Ham around the junction of White Hart Lane and Tottenham High Road.

The victim suffered a stab wound to the abdomen and was taken to an East London hospital but no arrests have yet been made following the Metropolitan Police's initial appeal for information and witnesses.

"West Ham United can confirm that the gentleman who suffered a stab wound in White Hart Lane on Sunday has been discharged from hospital following treatment,'' read a club statement on West Ham's official website.

"The club would like to wish the supporter concerned a continued speedy recovery.
