SATURDAY'S GAMES

PREDICTION: A 1-0 win for Watford
FANTASY PICK: Odion Ighalo
KEY STAT: Manchester United have won the last nine matches in all competitions against Watford, with the Hornets' last win coming back in September 1986, 1-0 at home in the league.

- WATFORD

Watford striker Odion Ighalo faces a late fitness test after returning back to the club late following international duty with Nigeria. Sebastian Prodl remains unavailable owing to a calf injury, as does Tommie Hoban (groin and hip injuries), Joel Ekstrand (knee) and Rene Gilmartin (knee). Beyond those, Sanchez Flores has a fully-fit squad from which to choose, although problems could yet surface for Allan Nyom, should he be punished by the Cameroon Football Association for missing their recent World Cup qualifiers.

Provisional squad: Abdi, Ake, Anya, Arlauskis, Behrami, Belkalem, Berghuis, Britos Cabrera, Capoue, Cathcart, Cholevas, Deeney, Diamanti, Gomes, Guedioura, Ibarbo, Ighalo, Jurado, Nyom, Paredes Reasco, Smith, Watson.

- MANCHESTER UNITED

Louis van Gaal is suffering from a striker shortage. Wayne Rooney (illness) and Anthony Martial (foot) are out while James Wilson cannot play 90 minutes because of a lack match fitness. Marouane Fellaini (calf), Michael Carrick (ankle), Antonio Valencia (foot) and Luke Shaw (leg) are out but Matteo Darmian is back following his one-match suspension.

Provisional squad: De Gea, Romero, Johnstone, Jones, Rojo, Tuanzebe, McNair, Smalling, Darmian, Borthwick-Jackson, Mata, Blind, Young, Herrera, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Lingard, Depay, Pereira, Wilson.

PREDICTION: A 1-1 draw
FANTASY PICK: Ramires
KEY STAT: Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 11 matches in all competitions against Norwich City (W8 D3), last losing to the Canaries 3-0 away in the league in December 1994.

- CHELSEA

Chelsea are again without Thibaut Courtois and Radamel Falcao. Courtois is slated to return from his knee injury in December after returning to training, while Falcao is nearing a return after picking up an undisclosed injury. Right-back Branislav Ivanovic is expected to be available following his hamstring injury prior to the international break.

Provisional squad: Begovic, Fabregas, Zouma, Rahman, Ramires, Oscar, Hazard, Mikel, Traore, Kenedy, Pedro, Costa, Matic, Willian, Cahill, Terry, Blackman, Azpilicueta, Loftus-Cheek, Amelia.

- NORWICH

Norwich expect winger Nathan Redmond to shake off a thigh injury. Captain Russell Martin is available again following a one-game suspension, but winger Matt Jarvis, on loan from West Ham, remains sidelined with a knee injury. Midfielders Robbie Brady and Wes Hoolahan helped the Republic of Ireland secure their place at Euro 2016 during the international break and will be assessed, along with others who were away with their countries.

Provisional squad: Ruddy, Olsson, Bassong, Martin, Wisdom, Mulumbu, Tettey, Brady, Howson, Hoolahan, Mbokani, Rudd, Bennett, Dorrans, O'Neil, Jerome, Redmond, Lafferty.

PREDICTION: A 3-1 win for Villa
FANTASY PICK: Romelu Lukaku
KEY STAT: Everton have lost just one of their last nine Premier League encounters with Aston Villa (W4 D4), although that defeat did come last time out, 2-3 at Villa Park last May.

- EVERTON

Everton midfielder Tom Cleverley is poised to return to action, while a late decision will be made on whether Leighton Baines is ready for his maiden first-team appearance of the season. Cleverley, who last featured in August, and Toffees full-back Baines have both been sidelined by ankle problems. The Premier League contest at Goodison Park could also see a first Everton appearance since September for fit-again midfielder Muhamed Besic. Defenders Brendan Galloway and Tyias Browning are two more who will undergo late checks due to knocks.

Provisional squad: Howard, Robles, Stones, Funes Mori, Holgate, Coleman, Baines, Browning, Galloway, McCarthy, Barkley, Cleverley, Barry, Besic, Gibson, Osman, Lennon, Naismith, Deulofeu, Mirallas, Kone, Lukaku.

- ASTON VILLA

Jordan Amavi has been ruled out for the rest of Aston Villa's season with a serious knee injury. The left-back is likely to be replaced by Kieran Richardson at Everton while Gabby Agbonlahor is struggling with a calf strain and Rudy Gestede will be monitored after a knee injury. Ashley Westwood is set to return to the squad after missing the 0-0 draw with Manchester City following a blow to the head, Liverpool loanee Tiago Ilori -- who has not featured for the club this season - is training but not match fit while Ciaran Clark is also set to keep Joleon Lescott on the bench.

Provisional squad: Guzan, Bunn, Bacuna, Hutton, Clark, Lescott, Okore, Richards, Crespo, Richardson, Gana, Grealish, Gil, Sanchez, Westwood, Veretout, Sinclair, Traore, N'Zogbia, Agbonlahor, Ayew, Kozak, Gestede.

PREDICTION: A 2-2 draw
FANTASY PICK: Jamie Vardy
KEY STAT: At St. James' Park, the Magpies have won each of their last four home Premier League clashes with Leicester, with the Foxes netting just one goal in total in those games.

- NEWCASTLE

Newcastle manager Steve McClaren could name an unchanged line-up. Goalkeeper Rob Elliot will continue to deputise for the injured Tim Krul despite missing both legs of Ireland's Euro 2016 play-off victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina with a thigh problem. Karl Darlow could also feature after returning from a foot injury. But Gabriel Obertan (hamstring), Jack Colback (knee), Steven Taylor (hamstring), Emmanuel Riviere (knee) and Rolando Aarons (ankle) all remain sidelined.

Provisional squad: Elliot, Woodman, Janmaat, Mbabu, Dummett, Coloccini, Mbemba, Lascelles, Anita, Tiote, Wijnaldum, Sissoko, Thauvin, Darlow, De Jong, Gouffran, Mitrovic, Cisse, Perez, Toney.

- LEICESTER

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy will be assessed as he chases a record-equalling goal at Newcastle. The forward missed England's games against Spain and France during the international break with a hip injury but will match Ruud van Nistelrooy's Premier League record of scoring in 10 straight games if he plays and nets at St James' Park on Saturday. Leonardo Ulloa, Shinji Okazaki and Andrej Kramaric stand by to deputise if Vardy fails to recover in time, while only long-term absentee Matty James (knee) is out for boss Claudio Ranieri.

Provisional squad: Schmeichel, Schwarzer, Simpson, Huth, Morgan, Wasilewski, De Laet, Fuchs, Benalouane, King, Albrighton, Kante, Schlupp, Drinkwater, Mahrez, Dyer, Inler, Vardy, Kramaric, Ulloa, Okazaki.

PREDICTION: A 1-1 draw
FANTASY PICK: Mame Biram Diouf
KEY STAT: Both sides have enjoyed one win each in their six Premier League clashes (D4), with both victories coming last season (both at home).

- SOUTHAMPTON

Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk should be fit to face Stoke despite suffering a knee injury. Shane Long came through his substitute appearance for Ireland against Bosnia-Herzegovina unscathed following five weeks out with an ankle problem and should also be in the squad. But fellow striker Jay Rodriguez is out with a foot injury which may require surgery and goalkeeper Fraser Forster is still recovering from a knee op.

Provisional squad: Stekelenburg, K Davis, Gazzaniga, Soares, Martina, Caulker, Yoshida, Van Dijk, Fonte, Bertrand, Targett, Clasie, S Davis, Reed, Romeu, Wanyama, Ward-Prowse, Mane, Juanmi, Ramirez, Tadic, Pelle, Long.

- STOKE CITY

Stoke defender Marc Muniesa remains on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. Veteran goalkeeper Shay Given is also still unavailable due to a long-term knee problem but the Potters are otherwise at full strength. Provisional squad: Butland, Haugaard, Cameron, Shawcross, Wollscheid, Wilson, Johnson, Pieters, Bardsley, Whelan, Adam, Ireland, Sidwell, Van Ginkel, Arnautovic, Bojan, Shaqiri, Afellay, Walters, Crouch, Joselu, Odemwingie, Diouf.

PREDICTION: 1-0 to Swansea
FANTASY PICK: Ashley Williams
KEY STAT: Swansea have lost just one of their last six league meetings with Bournemouth, winning four and drawing one.

- SWANSEA

Swansea manager Garry Monk has a fully-fit squad to choose from. But Monk will assess how Andre Ayew, Ki Sung-yueng and Jefferson Montero have recovered from international duty as the trio were involved in World Cup qualifiers in Africa, Asia and South America on Tuesday. Leon Britton, Wayne Routledge and Eder could all be considered as Monk addresses a run of form which has brought only one win in nine games and put him under increasing scrutiny.

Provisional squad: Fabianski, Naughton, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor, Cork, Shelvey, Ki, Montero, Ayew, Sigurdsson, Gomis, Nordfeldt, Rangel, Bartley, Amat, Tabanou, Britton, Routledge, Emnes, Barrow, Eder, Grimes.

- BOURNEMOUTH

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has a decision to make up front as Glenn Murray returns from injury. Murray was substituted at half-time in their game against Southampton and did not feature in the Cherries' 1-0 loss to Newcastle. Mark Pugh is also available to return to the squad following a knock but Howe is still without Tyrone Mings (knee), Max Gradel (knee), Callum Wilson (knee), Christian Atsu (shin) and Tommy Elphick (ankle).

Provisional squad: Federici, Smith, Francis, Distin, Daniels, Ritchie, Surman, Gosling, Staislas, Arter, King, Boruc, Cook, Rantie, MacDonald, Kermorgant, Tomlin, Bennett.

PREDICTION: A 2-0 win for Arsenal
FANTASY PICK: Hector Bellerin
KEY STAT: West Brom have registered just two wins in their 18 Premier League meetings with Arsenal (D3 L13), and are without a win against the Gunners in the last nine top-flight clashes.

- WEST BROM

Gareth McAuley is suspended. James Chester and Jonas Olsson are in line to replace him with Chester struggling to break into the Baggies side since his £8 million summer move from Hull. The defender voiced his frustration following Wales' 3-2 defeat to Netherlands last week. Ben Foster remains sidelined with a knee injury but is closing in on a return after being out since March and remains boss Tony Pulis' only injury worry with Chris Brunt expected to be fit after a groin problem.

Provisional squad: Myhill, Lindegaard, Gamboa, Dawson, Olsson, Chester, Evans, Brunt, Morrison, Gardner, Yacob, Fletcher, McClean, McManaman, Lambert, Gnabry, Sessegnon, Anichebe, Berahino Rondon.

- ARSENAL

Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud's readiness to play for Arsenal will be assessed. The pair played for France during the international break, when terrorists struck in coordinated attacks in Paris, and Wenger says defender Koscielny, in particular, appeared affected in Tuesday's match with England at Wembley. Right-back Hector Bellerin is available following a groin problem, but midfielders Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey (both hamstring) remain out this weekend and forward Theo Walcott (calf) is not expected back for "one or two weeks''.

Provisional squad: Cech, Monreal, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Debuchy, Coquelin, Cazorla, Ozil, Sanchez, Campbell, Giroud, Ospina, Gibbs, Chambers, Gabriel, Flamini, Iwobi, Reine Adelaide.

PREDICTION: A 1-1 draw
FANTASY PICK: Raheem Sterling
KEY STAT: Man City have won four and lost none of their last six Premier League games against Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium.

- MANCHESTER CITY

Striker Sergio Aguero is set to return for Manchester City against Liverpool. On the downside, captain Vincent Kompany is again sidelined by a calf problem while playmaker David Silva (ankle) and striker Wilfried Bony (hamstring) are also missing. Defender Pablo Zabaleta is back in contention after a knee problem but forward Samir Nasri (leg) faces a lengthy spell out. Raheem Sterling is poised to face his old club.

Provisional squad: Hart, Caballero, Sagna, Zabaleta, Otamendi, Mangala, Demichelis, Kolarov, Clichy, Maffeo, Toure, Fernando, Fernandinho, Delph, Sterling, De Bruyne, Navas, Aguero, Iheanacho.

- LIVERPOOL

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will make a late decision on whether to include striker Daniel Sturridge. The England international returned to full training this week after five weeks out with a knee injury but it may be too early for him. Midfielders Jordan Henderson (broken foot) and Jordan Rossiter (hamstring) are set to resume training with the squad next week but James Milner (hamstring) and Jordon Ibe (knee) have recovered from problems which forced them out of international duty.

Provisional squad: Mignolet, Clyne, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno, Milner, Lucas, Can, Firmino, Coutinho, Benteke, Bogdan, Toure, Randall, Brannagan, Allen, Lallana, Ibe, Teixeira, Origi, Sturridge.

SUNDAY'S MATCH

PREDICTION: A 3-1 for West Ham
FANTASY PICK: Andy Carroll
KEY STAT: 69 percent of the goals West Ham have conceded have come in the first half, the highest proportion in the top flight.

- TOTTENHAM

Tottenham winger Andros Townsend has returned to the first-team squad. Townsend was banned from the group as punishment for his skirmish with a club fitness trainer but is back in contention, along with forwards Clinton Njie and Son Heung-min, who have overcome hamstring and foot injuries respectively. Nabil Bentaleb, however, is out after sustaining a knock to his ankle playing for Algeria, while Nacer Chadli also has an ankle injury and Erik Lamela is suspended.

- WEST HAM

Midfielder Alex Song is set to make his first appearance of the season after returning to training. Song, on loan from Barcelona for a second campaign at West Ham, has faced a number of setbacks following surgery on his ankle, but the midfielder could be in line to feature at Tottenham on Sunday. Diafra Sakho, who has not featured for the club in their last two matches with a thigh problem, is also back in the squad. Dimitri Payet (ankle) has been ruled out of action for three months, while Enner Valencia (ankle) faces a further month on the sidelines.

Provisional squad: Adrian, Randolph, Tomkins, Reid, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Hendrie, Jenkinson, O'Brien, Oxford, Noble, Obiang, Kouyate, Cullen, Sakho, Song, Antonio, Moses, Lanzini, Zarate, Valencia, Carroll, Jelavic.

KEY STAT: There has been a 90th minute goal scored in three of the four Premier League meetings between Palace and Sunderland.

- CRYSTAL PALACE

Alan Pardew is hoping Crystal Palace's best start to the season in a Premier League campaign can continue. The Eagles manager welcomes Marouane Chamakh back from a hamstring injury but there are concerns over Bakary Sako, who is facing a fight to be fit in time.
