SATURDAY'S GAMES

PREDICTION: A 3-1 win for Man Utd
FANTASY PICK: Memphis Depay
KEY STAT: Manchester United have won five of their last six Premier League clashes with Newcastle (L1) and have lost just two of their last 25 top-tier encounters with the Magpies (W18 D5).

- MANCHESTER UNITED

Sergio Romero will continue in goal because David De Gea is still unable to focus following Real Madrid's interest in him, according to Louis van Gaal. The United manager remains without centre-back Phil Jones (mild thrombosis) and defender Marcos Rojo is unlikely to feature as he lacks match sharpness. Van Gaal is considering handing Bastian Schweinsteiger his first start, but fellow midfielder Marouane Fellaini is suspended.

Provisional squad: Lindegaard, Romero, Johnstone, Smalling, Shaw, Valencia, McNair, Darmian, Blackett; Mata, Carrick, Blind, Young, Herrera, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Lingard, Pereira; Depay, Rooney, Januzaj, Hernandez, Wilson.

- NEWCASTLE UNITED

New signing Florian Thauvin goes straight into the squad. The 22-year-old former Marseille winger is included just days after completing his switch to Tyneside, and he could yet be joined by fellow midfielder Moussa Sissoko, who is recovering well from the groin problem which forced his premature withdrawal at Swansea last weekend, but remains a doubt. Netherlands midfielder Siem de Jong is back in training after a shin injury, as is defender Paul Dummett, who is yet to feature this season because of a hamstring problem, but full-back Daryl Janmaat is suspended following his sending-off at the Liberty Stadium.

Provisional squad: Krul, Darlow, Coloccini, Mbemba, Taylor, Dummett, Lascelles, Williamson, Haidara, Tiote, Anita, Sissoko, Wijnaldum, Thauvin, De Jong, Colback, Obertan, Aarons, Gouffran, Cisse, Mitrovic, Perez.

PREDICTION: A 1-1 draw
FANTASY PICK: Gabriel Agbonlahor
KEY STAT: Crystal Palace have only lost one of their last six Premier League encounters with Aston Villa, winning three and drawing two.

- CRYSTAL PALACE

Crystal Palace have no new injury worries. Goalkeeper Julian Speroni (finger) and striker Marouane Chamakh (hamstring) are back in training but will not be risked just yet. Boss Alan Pardew is considering adding winger Bakary Sako to the squad for the first time since his summer switch from Wolves.

Provisional squad: Hennessey, A McCarthy, Ward, Mariappa, Hangeland, P McCarthy, Dann, Cabaye, Bamford, Bolasie, Sako, Campbell, Zaha, Jedinak, Gayle, Murray, McArthur, Fryers, Williams, Mutch, Souare, Lee, Delaney, Bannan, Ledley, Kelly, Puncheon, Guedioura.

- ASTON VILLA

Jack Grealish could be in the Aston Villa squad for the first time this season. The 19-year-old midfielder made a goal-scoring return from a hamstring injury for the Under-21 team on Monday. Carles Gil (ankle) and new signing Adama Traore also played in that game to build up their fitness and may be involved at Selhurst Park. Jores Okore remains out with a knee injury while Jose Angel Crespo is still working his way back from a groin problem.

Provisional squad: Guzan, Bunn, Hutton, Bacuna, Richards, Clark, Baker, Amavi, Richardson, Westwood, Sanchez, Veretout, Cole, Gueye, Gil, Grealish, N'Zogbia, Kozak, Agbonlahor, Ayew, Sinclair, Gestede.

PREDICTION: A 2-2 draw
FANTASY PICK: Riyad Mahrez
KEY STAT: Leicester City have won four successive home games -- they haven't won five in a row in the top-flight since April 1984.

- LEICESTER CITY

Gokhan Inler could make his Leicester debut against Tottenham after joining from Napoli this week. The midfielder penned a three-year deal at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday and boss Claudio Ranieri confirmed he is available. Matty James continues to recover from a long-term knee injury but Christian Fuchs is expected to recover from illness to feature in the squad.

Provisional squad: Schmeichel, Schwarzer, De Laet, Moore, Wasilewski, Huth, Benalouane, Morgan, Fuchs, Drinkwater, Kante, King, Albrighton, Schlupp, Hammond, Mahrez, Inler, Okazaki, Vardy, Ulloa, Kramaric

- TOTTENHAM

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino will decide whether to throw new signing Clinton N'Jie straight into the squad. Midfielder Andros Townsend is not available for the match due to an ankle injury. Striker Harry Kane has recovered from a tight calf which saw him substituted during last weekend's 2-2 draw against Stoke.

Provisional Squad: Lloris, Alderweireld, Davies, Vertonghen, Walker, Chadli, Mason, Eriksen, Dier, Dembele, Kane, Vorm, Bentaleb, Rose, Alli, Trippier, Carroll, Lamela, N'Jie

PREDICTION: A 2-1 win for Stoke
FANTASY PICK: Bradley Johnson
KEY STAT: Norwich have lost just one of their last 10 league meetings with Stoke City at Carrow Road (W5 D4 L1).

- NORWICH CITY

Norwich boss Alex Neil has no new injury concerns. The Canaries are likely to stick with the same starting line-up that achieved a 3-1 victory at Sunderland last weekend as they look to take their first home points of the new campaign. The clash with Stoke comes too soon for both defender Martin Olsson (shoulder) and forward Kyle Lafferty (knee) but both are set to return to contention ahead of their next league outing at Southampton while Ricky van Wolfswinkel may yet feature having scored for the under-21 side in midweek.

Provisional squad: Ruddy, Rudd, Whittaker, Wisdom, Bassong, Martin, R Bennett, Brady, Tettey, Dorrans, O'Neil, Johnson, Howson, Hoolahan, Redmond, Jerome, Grabban, Hooper, Van Wolfswinkel.

- STOKE CITY

Xherdan Shaqiri is set for his Stoke debut while it remains to be seen whether Bojan Krkic makes his first-team comeback. Record signing Shaqiri is now available after a one-game ban denied the winger his bow in the 2-2 draw at Tottenham last Saturday -- the same day playmaker Bojan completed 90 minutes for the Potters' under-21s side as he stepped up his recovery from a long-term knee injury. Marc Wilson is another who could make his maiden first-team appearance of the season having shaken off an ankle complaint, and Jonathan Walters is expected to be fine despite having recently felt ill, but Peter Odemwingie (hamstring) is still sidelined along with Ryan Shawcross (back).

Provisional squad: Butland, Given, Muniesa, Wilson, Wollscheid, Bardsley, Pieters, Johnson, Cameron, Whelan, Van Ginkel, Ireland, Adam, Sidwell, Arnautovic, Afellay, Walters, Bojan, Shaqiri, Diouf, Crouch, Joselu.

PREDICTION: A 3-0 win for Swansea
FANTASY PICK: Bafetimbi Gomis
KEY STAT: Swansea City have lost just one of their eight Premier League games against Sunderland (W2 D5 L1).

- SUNDERLAND

Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat will be without summer signing Younes Kaboul. French centre-half Kaboul, a £3 million signing from Tottenham in July, is struggling with a knee injury and will play no part so that could mean a first appearance of the season for skipper John O'Shea. Otherwise Advocaat will select from the same squad of players, but Spanish midfielder Jordi Gomez remains sidelined with the knee injury that has delayed his start to the season.

Provisional squad: Pantilimon, Mannone, Matthews, Jones, Van Aanholt, Brown, O'Shea, Coates, Cattermole, M'Vila, Bridcutt, Lens, Rodwell, Buckley, Larsson, Giaccherini, Defoe, Fletcher, Graham, Watmore.

- SWANSEA CITY

Ki Sung-yueng remains a doubt. The South Korean midfielder picked up a hamstring injury on the opening day of the season at Chelsea and is in a race against time to face the club where he had a successful loan period during the 2013-14 season. Ki is Swansea's only injury concern as manager Garry Monk seeks to build on a positive start which has seen the Welsh club take four points from their opening two games.

Provisional squad: Fabianski, Naughton, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor, Ki, Cork, Shelvey, Montero, Ayew, Sigurdsson, Gomis, Nordfeldt, Rangel, Bartley, Amat, Tabanou, Fulton, Britton, Routledge, Emnes, Dyer, Eder, Grimes.

PREDICTION: A 0-0 draw
FANTASY PICK: Darren Randolph
KEY STAT: This will be the first league meeting between West Ham and Bournemouth since April 1990 and only their third overall in league competition.

- WEST HAM

Goalkeeper Adrian begins a three-match suspension. Darren Randolph is expected to replace Adrian, who was sent off in last weekend's loss to Leicester. Mauro Zarate (hamstring) has joined fellow strikers Enner Valencia (leg) and Andy Carroll (knee) in the treatment room, while midfielder Reece Oxford is a doubt after missing a few days' training this week due to a niggle.

Provisional squad: Randolph, Tomkins, Collins, Ogbonna, Reid, Cresswell, Hendrie, Jenkinson, Oxford, Noble, Nolan, Obiang, Kouyate, Payet, Jarvis, Lanzini, Maiga, Sakho, Spiegel.

- BOURNEMOUTH

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is expected to retain the same team which has so far lost its opening two Premier League fixtures. Howe again has Shaun MacDonald available after the midfielder recovered from a toe injury but remains without Harry Arter, who has a groin injury, and Christian Atsu, who has a back problem. The manager has this week been critical of decisions taken by referee Craig Pawson during Monday's 1-0 defeat at Liverpool: Andre Marriner will oversee Sunday's fixture at Upton Park.

Provisional squad: Boruc, Camp, Francis, Cook, Mings, Gosling, Elphick, Surman, Pugh, Rantie, Daniels, Smith, MacDonald, Ward, Gradel, Tomlin, Wilson, Stanislas, Ritchie, O'Kane, King, Kermorgant

SUNDAY'S GAMES

PREDICTION: A 1-1 draw
FANTASY PICK: Saido Berahino
KEY STAT: Chelsea have only ever lost back-to-back Premier League games under Mourinho once before; this coming in May 2006 (when Chelsea had already won the title).

- WEST BROM

Saido Berahino is set to face Chelsea despite the on-going speculation over his West Brom future. The Baggies turned down a bid from Tottenham for the striker this week but boss Tony Pulis is confident he is in the right frame of mind. Federico Fazio is close to joining from Tottenham but needs to be registered in time while Serge Gnabry is match fit so could make his debut and £12 million record buy Salomon Rondon is expected to make his home bow.

Provisional squad: Myhill, Rose, Gamboa, Brunt, Chester, Dawson, Yacob, Olsson, McAuley, Lescott, Fletcher, McManaman, Gnabry, McClean, Gardner, Morrison, Sessegnon, Berahino, Anichebe, Rondon, Ideye, Lambert.

- CHELSEA

Pedro and Baba Rahman could make their Chelsea debuts on Sunday at West Brom after signing for the Premier League champions this week. Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will return from a one-match ban in place of Asmir Begovic, while captain John Terry is likely to start in defence despite being substituted at half-time in last week's loss at Manchester City. Victor Moses and Oscar are out with undisclosed injuries.

Provisional squad: Courtois, Begovic, Ivanovic, Rahman, Fabregas, Zouma, Ramires, Falcao, Hazard, Cuadrado, Mikel, Traore, Pedro, Remy, Costa, Matic, Willian, Cahill, Terry, Blackman, Azpilicueta, Loftus-Cheek.

PREDICTION: A 2-0 win for Man City
FANTASY PICK: David Silva
KEY STAT: Roberto Martinez has won only two points in 12 Premier League games against Manchester City as a manager (W0 D2 L10).

- EVERTON

Everton boss Roberto Martinez has stressed he will have no hesitation in including John Stones despite the transfer speculation that continues to surround the defender. Midfielders Muhamed Besic and Kevin Mirallas could play after being unused substitutes in last Saturday's 3-0 win at Southampton following hamstring and ankle problems respectively, and winger Aiden McGeady is also available having recovered from a hamstring complaint. Steven Pienaar (hamstring), Darron Gibson (foot), Tony Hibbert (knee) and Leighton Baines (ankle) remain sidelined.

Provisional squad: Howard, Robles, Jagielka, Stones, Coleman, Browning, Galloway, Oviedo, Cleverley, McCarthy, Barry, Osman, Besic, Barkley, Mirallas, Naismith, Deulofeu, McGeady, Kone, Lukaku.

- MANCHESTER CITY

Manchester City are without right-back Pablo Zabaleta because of a knee injury that could sideline him for a month. City bolstered their squad by signing Nicolas Otamendi from Valencia this week but the £32 million centre-back is likely to have to wait for his debut with captain Vincent Kompany and Eliaquim Mangala in good form. Midfielder Fabian Delph might come into contention for his first appearance having returned to training following his pre-season hamstring injury while Fernando is also fit after groin trouble.

Provisional squad: Hart, Caballero, Sagna, Kompany, Mangala, Demichelis, Otamendi, Denayer, Kolarov, Clichy, Navas, Silva, Nasri, Toure, Fernandinho, Fernando, Lopes, Aguero, Bony, Sterling, Iheanacho.

PREDICTION: A 1-0 win for Watford
FANTASY PICK: Troy Deeney
KEY STAT: Watford have lost just one of their last six competitive meetings at Vicarage Road against Saints (W4 D1 L1).

- WATFORD

New signing Alessandro Diamanti could make his Watford debut if he receives international clearance on time. Defender Miguel Britos and goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis are also both available for their first appearances after serving bans given at their previous clubs. Nathan Ake is expected to be on the bench after arriving on loan from Chelsea earlier this week as, beyond long-term absentee Joel Ekstrand, manager Quique Flores has a fully-fit squad from which to choose.

Provisional squad: Gomes, Arlauskis, Nyom, Britos, Angella, Prodl, Jurado, Behrami, Deeney, Vydra, Doyley, Paredes, Cathcart, Pudil, Layun, Belkalem, Anya, Abdi, Watson, Capoue, Holebas, Dyer, Martin, Deeney, Vydra, Forestieri, Berghuis, Ighalo, Mensah.

- SOUTHAMPTON

Southampton have no fresh injury concerns. Ronald Koeman's side faced a tough Europa League play-off tie against FC Midtjylland on Thursday night but the Dutchman confirmed everyone who was involved is in contention at Vicarage Road. Jay Rodriguez could again start as he looks for his first Premier League goal in 17 months, with Manchester United target Sadio Mane likely to be included. Ryan Bertrand (knee) and Jordie Clasie (hamstring) remain unavailable, as does long-term absentee Fraser Forster (knee).

Provisional squad: Stekelenburg, Davis, Soares, Yoshida, Gardos, Fonte, Caulker, Targett, Long, Davis, Rodriguez, Mane, Tadic, Wanyama, Romeu, Martina, Ward-Prowse, Reed, Pelle, Juanmi.

MONDAY'S GAME

PREDICTION: A 2-1 win for Arsenal
FANTASY PICK: Santi Cazorla
KEY STAT: Martin Skrtel has scored three goals in his last two Premier League games against Arsenal - only against Man City has he scored as many PL goals (3).

- ARSENAL

Arsenal have no fresh injury worries. Midfielder Jack Wilshere continues his recovery from a hairline fracture to his left fibula, but is not expected back until after the international break. Striker Danny Welbeck (knee) is also sidelined while midfielder Tomas Rosicky remains a longer-term absentee after knee surgery.

Provisional squad: Cech, Bellerin, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Monreal, Coquelin, Cazorla, Sanchez, Ozil, Ramsey, Giroud, Ospina, Gibbs, Arteta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gabriel, Debuchy, Walcott.

- LIVERPOOL

Liverpool will assess the fitness of captain Jordan Henderson. The midfielder was withdrawn early in the second half of last Monday's defeat of Bournemouth with manager Brendan Rodgers later revealing he had been taking pain-killers for a foot injury sustained in training. The return of midfielder Joe Allen (hamstring) remains uncertain while striker Daniel Sturridge continues to recover from hip surgery and defender Jon Flanagan (knee) is out until December.

Provisional squad: Mignolet, Bogdan, Clyne, Skrtel, Lovren, Gomez, Henderson, Milner, Coutinho, Lallana, Ibe, Benteke, Toure, Moreno, Can, Firmino, Origi, Ings, Sakho.
