Man United have endured most injuries in Premier League season - report

Manchester United's squad has suffered the most injuries during the 2014-15 Premier League season, according to PhysioRoom.com.

The Telegraph report claims that Louis van Gaal's United have had 68 injuries this campaign.

That figure is far higher than Premier League leaders Chelsea, who have endured 43 over the duration of the term.

United have the highest number of injuries while Burnley are lowest on the list with 24.

Arsenal are second, below United, with 66, Liverpool have had 52 and Manchester City 51.

Earlier in the season, Van Gaal had 10 first-team players sidelined through injury.

And earlier this month Michael Carrick, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind and Phil Jones were all ruled out of United's trip to Chelsea.

Thursday's report says left-back Luke Shaw has been United's most injured player this term, sustaining six setbacks since his move from Souhampton.

In October, a report claimed Arsenal players have sustained 889 injuries since August 2002.
