Injuries and suspensions: All the Premier League team news

Get all the latest team news and information from the midweek Premier League action.

Sunday's matches

PREDICTION: High-scoring draw, 2-2.
FANTASY PICK: Ander Herrera
KEY STAT:  Steven Gerrard has scored seven goals in his last 11 Premier League games against Manchester United. If Liverpool avoid defeat in this game they will match the longest unbeaten run of the season seen in the Premier League this season (14 games, recorded by Chelsea).

- LIVERPOOL

Midfielder Lucas Leiva's fitness will be assessed ahead after he returned to training this week following a groin problem sustained six weeks ago, but he may not be ready to go straight into the squad. Striker Mario Balotelli has recovered from the bout of illness which saw him miss Monday's win at Swansea.

Provisional squad: Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Sakho, Markovic, Henderson, Allen, Moreno, Coutinho, Lallana, Sterling, Jones, Toure, Lovren, Johnson, Enrique, Gerrard, Lucas, Balotelli, Lambert, Borini.

- MANCHESTER UNITED

Midfielder Angel di Maria is available for Sunday's match at Liverpool having served a one-match suspension for his dismissal against Arsenal. Striker Robin van Persie is still out with an ankle problem and defender Jonny Evans is suspended. Left-back Luke Shaw (hamstring) and centre-half Marcos Rojo (groin) are doubts for the Barclays Premier League match.

Provisional squad: De Gea, Lindegaard, Valdes, Shaw, Blackett, Rojo, Smalling, Jones, McNair, Rafael, Pereira, Young, Blind, Fellaini, Herrera, Valencia, Di Maria, Januzaj, Mata, Falcao, Rooney, Wilson.

PREDICTION: Toothless Tigers, 0-2.
FANTASY PICK: Diego Costa
KEY STAT:  Chelsea have won nine and lost none of the last 11 meetings in all competitions against Hull City. Eden Hazard has scored in the last two Premier League meetings with Hull City.

- HULL CITY

Record signing Abel Hernandez is set to return to Hull's starting line-up after the Tigers lost Nikica Jelavic for six weeks. Jelavic faces an extended spell on the sidelines after knee surgery and Bruce is also unlikely to be able to welcome back any of his other long-term injured stars. Mohamed Diame, Liam Rosenior, James Chester and Robbie Brady are all unlikely to be risked on Sunday, while Tom Huddlestone is suspended after his sending-off against Leicester last week.

Provisional squad: McGregor, Harper, Davies, Dawson, McShane, Robertson, Bruce, Elmohamady, Livermore, Meyler, Quinn, Hernandez, Aluko, Ramirez, N'Doye.

- CHELSEA

Premier League leaders Chelsea have an almost fully-fit squad. Only John Obi Mikel (knee) is out, with the midfielder likely to return to contention following the forthcoming international break. Blues manager Jose Mourinho says a few undisclosed players have knocks which should not keep them out of the match at the KC Stadium.

Provisional squad: Courtois, Cech, Ivanovic, Luis, Fabregas, Zouma, Ake, Ramires, Oscar, Hazard, Drogba, Remy, Costa, Matic, Willian, Cuadrado, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta, Blackman, Loftus-Cheek.

PREDICTION: QPR to take advantage of Everton's trip to Ukraine, 2-0.
FANTASY PICK: Charlie Austin
KEY STAT:  Everton are unbeaten in the last five meetings in all competitions with Queens Park Rangers (W3 D2 L0). However, the Toffees have won none of their last five Premier League trips to Loftus Road with two defeats against Fulham and two draws and a loss against QPR in those visits.

- QUEENS PARK RANGERS

QPR are hoping to have midfielder Joey Barton back after he missed his team's last three league games through suspension. But he sustained a knock in training this week and is doubtful for the encounter at Loftus Road. QPR coach Chris Ramsey will make a late decision on Barton, while Mauricio Isla (knee) and Darnell Furlong (calf) are also doubts. Defender Richard Dunne and midfield pair Leroy Fer and Alejandro Faurlin are all sidelined with knee injuries.

Provisional squad: Green, Furlong, Caulker, Onuoha, Yun, Wright-Phillips, Henry, Sandro, Phillips, Taarabt, Austin, Hill, McCarthy, Kranjcar, Hoilett, Vargas, Zamora, Grego-Cox.

- EVERTON

Midfielder Gareth Barry will have to drop out of the Everton team to face QPR at Loftus Road on Sunday. Barry started the 5-2 Europa League defeat to Dynamo Kiev on Thursday night but he has one more game to serve on his two-match domestic suspension after picking up 10 yellow cards this season. Toffees boss Roberto Martinez remains without Kevin Mirallas (knock), Bryan Oviedo (hamstring), Tony Hibbert and Steven Pienaar (both knee) but reported no new injuries from the trip to Ukraine and Aiden McGeady (knee) will be in the squad along with Aaron Lennon, who was cup-tied in the Europa League.

Provisional squad: Howard, Robles, Griffiths, Stones, Alcaraz, Jagielka, Browning, Coleman, Baines, Garbutt, Besic, McCarthy, Lennon, Barkley, Gibson, Osman, Atsu, McGeady, Naismith, Lukaku, Kone.
