The FA has announced that Chelsea and Everton have been fined 30,000 pounds each for failing to control their players during their Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on Feb. 11.

Tempers flared during the Blues' 1-0 win when Gareth Barry tripped Willian in the 86th minute -- earning himself a second yellow card -- before a melee then ensued, which involved Branislav Ivanovic motioning his head towards James McCarthy.

Ivanovic did not face any further action in relation to the incident, though both clubs admitted to their respective charges and have been fined.

A statement on the FA's official website read: "Following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing, both Chelsea and Everton have been fined 30,000 pounds for player misconduct.

"Following an incident in the 86th minute of their fixture on Feb. 11, 2015, both clubs were charged with failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour.

"The charge against Chelsea further alleged that their players surrounded the match referee and/or became involved in a mass confrontation.

"Chelsea and Everton both admitted their charge and as well as being fined were also warned as to their future conduct."
