Avram Grant's agent has played down to ESPN FC talk linking the Ghana coach with the vacant posts at Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa. Former Chelsea and West Ham boss Grant has been mentioned as a possible contender for the roles to replace Harry Redknapp at Loftus Road and Paul Lambert at Villa Park. QPR chairman Tony Fernandes said he has identified his "dream manager" -- but did not reveal who it is in a tweet he posted on Tuesday. Former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood was thought to be the frontrunner to take over at QPR, while another favourite Michael Laudrup has ruled himself out of the running. Lambert was sacked on Wednesday, just 24 hours after the 2-0 defeat at Hull City which saw Villa drop into the Premier League's bottom three, with Sherwood and United Staes boss Jurgen Klinsmann the early favourites to succeed the Scot. Grant, who has had jobs around the world, is currently in charge of Ghana and guided them to the final of the African Nations Cup this month, only to lose on penalties to Ivory Coast. Grant's representative, Saif Rubie, has cooled speculation that the Israeli could take over at either QPR or Villa, and insists the 60-year-old is fully focused on his job with the Black Stars. "Avram loves the Premier League, but obviously he is under contract with the Ghana Football Association and he is very happy with how things have gone so far, helping the country go so close to winning the African Nations Cup," Rubie told ESPN FC. "I know the people at QPR and Aston Villa very well and I really hope they stay up in the Premier League. "Avram is focused on the job he has got with Ghana, but in football you just never know what might happen."
