Return to Inter Milan 'impossible' for Liverpool's Mario Balotelli - agent

Mario Balotelli's agent says that the a move back to Inter Milan to rejoin Roberto Mancini is "impossible" for the Liverpool striker.

Balotelli, 24, has struggled since moving from AC Milan to Liverpool this summer, and has failed to score in the Premier League this season as Brendan Rodgers' side lie in 12th place.

Rodgers suggested in October that the striker's long-term Anfield future would be in doubt if he failed to find form and discipline, though the player's agent Mino Raiola told la Politica nel Pallone on GrParlamento that the Italy international will not be returning to the San Siro to rejoin the newly appointed Mancini.

In quotes picked up by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Raiola said: "A return to Inter? Impossible. Not for Mancini but for other reasons that are not worth talking about. Not even Naples [Napoli]. Mario isn't going back to Italy."

Balotelli worked alongside Mancini at both Inter and Manchester City, though the new Nerazzurri coach said that the striker refused to listen to him.

The Liverpool striker has also defended himself against accusations from Francesco Totti that he "doesn't listen to anyone," and says he is confident he can rediscover his goalscoring touch.

"There is nothing in my life that is wrong," he told Fox Sports Australia. "I train hard, I play, I run. I do everything. It's just that the goal has not come. I think that's just unlucky.

"I'm not going to think about it, because these things happen. I don't need people to believe in me. As long as I believe in myself, I don't need people to believe in me. I will score goals."
