Dale Johnson's correct prediction of a home win for struggling Queens Park Rangers on Monday night against Aston Villa proved key in him being victorious, narrowly edging out the Rest of the World. It was another tale of woe for Tommy Smyth.
Representing the ROTW this weekend we have George Ashkar who is currently out in the United Arab Emirates.
He tells Showdown: "I currently live in Dubai and work in private equity. I am 29 years old and have lived between Nigeria and England (London). I have been an Arsenal fan since I started watching football in 1996 (Arsene Wenger's first season), and have been through the good times and the hard times.
"I have rarely missed a game since then. I hope to be able to put up a challenge for three points for the 'Rest of the World"!"

For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on ESPN FC TV's Tommy Smyth and ESPN FC journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.
Points are then awarded as follows:
- Three points for a correct result and scoreline
- One point for a correct result
After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.
