Barcelona's Neymar 'feeling good,' but avoids addressing PSG reports

Barcelona star Neymar broke his silence on Friday but avoided addressing reports he's set to move to Paris Saint-Germain or his clash with teammate Nelson Semedo during training on Thursday.

The Brazil international, speaking at a Nike event, said he was "feeling good" before presenting a new pair of football boots, in which he said he's hoping to "score a lot of goals," although he didn't mention which team's shirt he will be wearing.

There has been growing speculation that the Brazil international is set to join Paris Saint-Germain, with a source telling ESPN FC last weekend that Neymar and his father have agreed to a contract with the French club and it is up to them to find a way to complete the move without falling foul of financial fair play rules.

PSG are reportedly set to trigger his €222 million release clause and sign the former Santos star to a massive contract that, sources say, would see Neymar earn about €30m a year after taxes and a signing bonus in excess of his net annual sum.

Since news of a possible deal surfaced last week, Barcelona's players have tried to persuade Neymar to stay at the club.

Defender Gerard Pique tweeted out an image of him and the Brazil No. 10 with the caption "he stays" on Sunday, before later explaining in a news conference the message was simply wishful thinking.

Earlier on Friday, Neymar was filmed clashing with new Barca right-back Semedo in training as speculation increases that the switch to PSG is imminent.
