Barcelona's Luis Suarez to Atleti's Filipe Luis: 'You dived, clown'

After a studs-in tackle to Atletico left-back Filipe Luis, new matchday video from Spain shows that Barcelona striker Luis Suarez also taunted his rival on the pitch by saying: "You dived, clown," according to Spanish media reports.

The two players clashed in the 83rd minute of Wednesday's 1-1 draw between Barca and Atletico Madrid at Camp Nou, with Suarez cautioned as a result.

After the encounter, Suarez can be seen exchanging words with both Filipe Luis and Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke, who called the Uruguay international "a wimp" several times.

Within minutes of the match ending, Luis posted a photo on his Instagram account of a bloody right foot alongside the ironic caption: "At least he didn't touch me."

Asked about the Brazilian left-back's decision to publish the photo, Suarez told reporters:  "Football is for men.

"Everything stays on the pitch. If everyone uploaded what happens [on the pitch to social media accounts] the game would become a circus."

The two players have had various on-field encounters in previous matches.
