Barcelona's job not done after Super Cup win over Sevilla - Luis Enrique

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique warned his team their job was not yet done after a 2-0 win over Sevilla in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup on Sunday night.

Second-half goals from Luis Suarez and Munir eased Barcelona to victory in Seville, putting them in the box seat ahead of next week's return leg at the Nou Camp.

"It was a very good result, but it was not definitive,'' Luis Enrique said on the club's official website.

Enrique praised Sevilla's defending, adding: "Without the ball, they made it very complicated with man-marking. It was very hard to find passes.

"But in the second half we changed some things and the team did better, creating more opportunities and finding our forwards more easily.''

Sevilla counterpart Jorge Sampaoli believes his players were paying the price for a heavy early-season schedule which included the UEFA Super Cup loss to Real Madrid.

"The calendar has hurt us,'' he said. "We feel the weight of playing every three days. Not we must assess everyone to put the best team out for the second leg.

"In the second half we came up short,'' he added. "We ran more than we played. In the second 45 minutes we came close to finding the right areas but we were imprecise.''

Suarez, who scored 59 goals for Barca last season, opened his account for this campaign with the first goal of the game early in the second half.

The Uruguayan admitted Barca had struggled to break down this new-look Sevilla side before finding their rhythm after the break.

"We had to adapt,'' Suarez said. "They were playing with a new coach and we had to get to know them. But in the second half we played a great game.

"This is not over but we have a good advantage for the home game.''
