Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez have been included in Luis Enrique's starting XI for Barcelona's International Champions Cup friendly match against Celtic on Saturday (1 p.m. ET, ESPN).
Messi cut short his summer holiday to train with the team last week after leading Argentina to the final of the Copa America Centenario and wasn't expected to join the team until Aug. 1.
Suarez picked up an injury ahead of Uruguay's Copa campaign in the United States and failed to make an appearance in the tournament.
The former Liverpool man was one of about a dozen senior players to take part in Barca's initial training sessions at St George's Park.
Others such as international stars Javier Mascherano, Andres Iniesta, Claudio Bravo, Gerard Pique, Sergio Busquets and Ivan Rakitic aren't expected to be back with the team until August.
