Barcelona youngster Lee Seung-woo will now have the chance to show his worth to senior coach Luis Enrique after the South Korean forward became eligible to play again for the club.
Lee's arrival at Barca in 2011 was one of the cross-border youth transfers that led FIFA to impose a ban that prevented the club registering new signings for two transfer windows.
After the ban was lifted this week, 77 players reportedly registered with Barca and Mundo Deportivo has reported that Lee, who turned 18 on Wednesday, is set to follow suit imminently.

In his first season with Barca's Infantil A squad, Lee scored 39 goals in 29 games, surpassing a record that had been set by Lionel Messi.
While still officially on a Juvenil A contract, he is expected to be given a chance to make an impression with Barcelona B, who are currently struggling in Spain's third tier.
Mundo Deportivo reported that Lee, who is represented by top agent Pere Guardiola, would see the release clause in his contract increase from €3 million to €12m if he is promoted to the B team.
Barca boss Luis Enrique was asked about the player at his news conference ahead of Wednesday's Copa del Rey round-of-16 first leg at home to neighbours Espanyol.
"It is very important that Lee, just like the other players who were penalised, have a chance to play again," he said.
Lee's progress over the last two seasons has been affected by the FIFA ban, and he has been in South Korea over the last two months training after playing in the October's Under-17 World Cup, when he missed a penalty as his side were eliminated 2-0 by Belgium in the round of 16.
During his time on the sidelines, some of Europe's top clubs, including Real Madrid and Chelsea, reportedly made contact with his father to discuss a move, but the youngster was happy to remain at the Camp Nou.
