Luis Suarez says he, Neymar and Messi 'really enjoy ourselves' at Barcelona

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez said he really enjoys playing alongside fellow attacking superstars Lionel Messi and Neymar -- after the trio again dominated proceedings in Tuesday's 6-1 Champions League Group E win over Roma at the Camp Nou.

Suarez and Messi both scored twice in a scintillating Barca performance, with Gerard Pique and substitute Adriano also getting on the scoresheet -- the latter ramming in the rebound after Messi had handed the ball to Neymar only for the Brazilian's penalty to be saved by Roma keeper Wojciech Szczesny.

Still, Messi (43), Suarez (39) and Neymar (39) have combined for 121 goals in the first 11 months of 2015, with many of these strikes having come after build-up play involving one or both of their fellow South Americans.

Suarez told Catalan TV that the trio were able to put aside their personal ambitions and make their understanding work for the benefit of the Barca team.

"We really enjoy ourselves, the three of us," Suarez said. "We are players who understand each other, and we just think in the good of the team. We leave aside our personal attitudes, and just think about the team."

Messi was making his first start in almost two months, having returned from a knee injury as a second-half substitute during Saturday's 4-0 Clasico win at Real Madrid.

The Argentine completed the 90 minutes against Roma, and Suarez said it was a joy to see his friend back playing and among the goals.

"We also know that Leo is the best, and what we have to do," he said. "Not compete against him, but help him and also help the team. It is a joy to have him back playing with us. I feel very happy for his goals and for him having completed the full game. We know he is a great player and he always puts on a good show."

Barca were 2-0 up inside 18 minutes, with both goals being easy finishes for Suarez and Messi after multi-pass moves had completely cut apart the Roma defence.

"Roma left us a lot of space in the first half," the Uruguay international said. "And we tried to take advantage of that, as was seen on the scoreboard. We played a perfect, complete game."
