Luis Enrique unsure if he'll still be Barcelona coach next season

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique refused to say if he was going to stay at the club when talking after his side's 3-1 Champions League final win against Juventus.

Barca went ahead in Berlin after just four minutes through Ivan Rakitic and were the better side for the most of the game, but they were given a fright when Alvaro Morata equalised early in the second half.

Luis Suarez put the Blaugrana back ahead and Neymar wrapped up things with the very last kick of the game, before captain Xavi Hernandez lifted the Champions League trophy, as he has also done with the La Liga and Copa del Rey trophies in recent weeks.

When asked if he would be back to guide the players towards another Treble next season, Luis Enrique was less than clear with his answer.

"My challenge is to enjoy this moment at the time," he told Canal Plus. "And to have a good summer. The season is not over yet, we have a long night ahead of us now."

Told that he had previously said he would clear up his future once the season has ended, the Asturian skilfully dodged the question.

"The season is not over yet," he said again with a smile. "We have a long night ahead of us now and then tomorrow we have the parade."

Further pressed as to whether he had decided his future yet, Luis Enrique suggested he had not.

"The truth is no," he said.

A presidential election is due to be held at the Camp Nou this summer, with club president Josep Bartomeu having announced he was calling the poll last January.

Luis Enrique went on to say he is happy to be ending a campaign which had its "difficult" moments with a Treble, while pointedly remembering his friend and former teammate Andoni Zubizarreta, who was fired by Bartomeu midway through the season.

"This is very nice, I am very happy. There was lots of tension, but this is a unique group of players, and spectacular fans," he said. "They are winners, they stick together, and they enjoy what they do, and make others enjoy it too.

"Today it is our 60th game of season -- 50 wins, four draws, six defeats. A historic year. A difficult year. I'm happy for the people who trusted in me, Zubi, [his assistants Albert] Valenti and [Narcis] Julia. We want to dedicate these happy moments to them."

Asked if he had thought at the start of the season whether such a finale was possible, Luis Enrique said he had not, but simply kept working at improving an already top team during the year.

"I never imagined we could win all the titles we were going for," he said. "But you try and do your job, to improve aspects of the play, but having these players of course brings you closer to success."
