Brazil courts request testimony in Neymar transfer case

A Sao Paolo court has called Neymar to Brazil to testify in a lawsuit presented by investment company DIS, which owns 40 percent of the Barcelona star's rights, according to Catalan TV show "8 al dia."

The judge in the case has given Neymar's agent, Wagner Ribeiro, five days to present documents regarding the star's transfer from Santos to Barcelona, according to the Catalan program.

The investment company DIS claims they are owed more than the 6.8 million euros received from the 17.1 million euro transfer pool. They claim they are owed more euros based on an admission by Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu that the player's transfer fee was more than the originally stated 57 million euros and closer to 90 million euros.

Barcelona are currently battling the Spanish courts over a claim that the club owes unpaid taxes in light of the new transfer fee findings.
