Perth Glory had to wear training jersey vs. Western United as away kit lost in transit

Perth Glory were forced to wear their training jerseys for the A-League clash with Western United on Saturday because Australian airline Qantas lost their regular away kit in transit.

Glory, who rescued a 1-1 draw in the game, made the announcement via their Twitter page.

"Kit switch..." the club posted on their official page. "Due to Qantas losing our regular kit in transit, here's what we'll be lining up in against Western United this afternoon."

The tweet attached an image of the club's training kit with a large number and various sponsors dominating the reverse.

When they arrived in Melbourne, Glory had to quickly print the names on the back of the jerseys in time for the game.

Qantas replied to the initial post to assure the club they were going to deal with the matter -- just under an hour after the Glory's match had kicked-off against Western United.

"Hi there, we're looking into this for you, but our records show the bags made it to Melbourne," their Australian airline's post read.

"Please DM us with your missing bag report number or more information."
