Perth Glory snatch point off Brisbane Roar in A-League through Dino Djulbic

Perth Glory left it late as they consolidated their position at the top of the A-League with a 2-2 draw at home to Brisbane Roar.

Daniel Da Silva fired the Glory in front after 26 minutes but Brisbane hit back in three second-half minutes with goals from Jean Carlos Solorzano (59) and Matt McKay (62).

However, the dismissal of visiting defender Corey Brown after 76 minutes swung things back in Perth's favour and Dino Djulbic eventually netted an equaliser six minutes from time.

The draw sees Perth move three points clear at the top of the standings, having played two games more than nearest challengers Melbourne Victory.

Sydney FC piled more misery on bottom-of-the-table Western Sydney Wanderers with a 4-3 victory in the derby.

The visitors were 3-0 up after just 24 minutes thanks to Ante Covic's own goal and a brace from Marc Janko, but Wanderers pulled level through Iacopo La Rocca and Kerem Bulut's double.

However, substitute Terry Antonis gave Sydney the edge after 74 minutes and, even though they finished the match with 10 men following a red card for Michael Tavares, they held on for the spoils.

Newcastle Jets remain in the bottom two following a goalless draw at home to Central Coast Mariners.
