Socceroos need to keep Ange, make harsh decisions for 2018 World Cup

Jason Dasey and Gary Phillips assess what Australia must improve upon ahead of the 2018 World Cup.

Spying allegations were directed at Australia on Monday after the Honduran football association caught sight of a drone hovering above their training session at Sydney's ANZ Stadium.

Australia won't be fazed by a penalty shootout - Mile Jedinak

Trent Sainsbury is confident that despite missing chances to score in Honduras, the Socceroos can win in Sydney and progress to the World Cup in Russia.

Mile Jedinak isn't concentrating on a penalty shootout despite the real prospect that Australia's World Cup hopes could be decided by spot kicks on Wednesday night.

A 0-0 result to mirror the deadlock in San Pedro Sula on Saturday will send Australia and Honduras to extra-time, and then possibly a shootout at ANZ Stadium in the second leg of their qualifying playoff.

But on the eve of the make-or-break clash, Jedinak wasn't overly interested about what may be 120 minutes into the distance.

"If I'm...
