Mile Jedinak: Socceroos must find solution quickly after Thailand draw

Australia midfielder Mile Jedinak urged the Socceroos to quickly find a solution to their World Cup qualifying woes after a 2-2 draw with Thailand on Tuesday.

Jedinak scored both of his sides goals from the penalty spot, but Australia still dropped points against a side that had not earned any from their first four games in Group B.

Australia have settled for a a draw in their past three qualifiers and are now a point outside the automatic qualification spots, and Jedinak said they must improve over the second half of the campaign.

"We need to assess what's gone wrong here and try to rectify it quickly," Jedinak told Fox Sports.

"We got into some really good positions. In the final third, we lacked that cutting edge, whether it be a pass or a shot, just to get them working.

"I think we let them off the hook a few times and allowed them to get out of it a bit too easily.

"Saying that, they got into our box a couple of times and scored two. It's a shame but that's World Cup qualification.

"There's still five games to go. We'll analyse this and move forward. We have to."
