Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone will remain at club, midfielder Tiago insists

Atletico Madrid midfielder Tiago has said he has "no doubt" that Diego Simeone will remain with the club.

Simeone, who has led Atletico to two Champions League finals in three years, opened the door for a potential exit from the Vicente Calderon in the aftermath of defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League final on Saturday.

But asked whether the Argentine boss would stay, Tiago was adamant he would and said: "I have no doubt."

Meanwhile, Atletico central defender Diego Godin has vowed that the players will bounce back from Saturday's disappointment and battle to go one better in the competition next season.

"It's a tough blow to take, but we will pick ourselves up -- we always do," he said. "We're very proud of what we've done this year.

"That's football, it happens, so we look for another opportunity.

"This is a winning group. I'm so proud of my teammates. We're going to keep fighting for our objectives and those of the club, the things that we dream of."
