David Ospina doubtful for West Ham, Martinez may come in - source

Arsenal could be facing a goalkeeping crisis as David Ospina is a doubt for Wednesday's Premier League game against West Ham, a source has told ESPN FC.

Petr Cech is already sidelined with a calf injury and Ospina is doubtful to feature at the Emirates Stadium because of an abdominal problem, the source said.

If the Colombia international cannot play, it would force Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to pick third-choice goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, who has not played a Premier League game since December 2014.

Martinez spent last season on loan at Wolves and has started Arsenal's three EFL Cup games this term.

Ospina played in Sunday's 2-2 draw against Manchester City but needed treatment during the second after a collision.

Arsenal need a win against West Ham to make up ground on their top-four rivals, with the Gunners having slipped to sixth place in the standings, seven points off fourth-placed City.
