Arsene Wenger: No Arsenal dressing room row after Bayern thrashing

LONDON -- Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has denied reports of a dressing room row after the 5-1 loss at Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday.

On Friday, The Sun reported that Arsenal players had "a furious row" after the defeat, with Alexis Sanchez shouting at teammates and assistant manager Steve Bould throwing a water bottle at a wall.

But Wenger told a news conference on Friday that there had been no bust-up.

"No, not at all," he said. "Everybody was of course deeply disappointed and affected, but there was no incident in the dressing room apart from a huge sadness and disappointment."

Arsenal will have a chance to bounce back when they play non-league club side Sutton United in the FA Cup on Monday, and Wenger said it was crucial that his players regrouped.

"What is important for us is to focus on our next game and let everybody judge and criticise," he said.

"We have to deal with that, with the media, and focus on what is our job. We can take care of what is in front of us and what we can influence.

"At the moment we have to look at our next game."
