Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny trains ahead of PSG game despite injury fears

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny trained as normal on Monday, easing fears that he could miss the Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain with an eye injury.

Koscielny needed treatment after taking a hit to the face in the final minutes of Arsenal's 2-1 victory over Southampton, and Arsene Wenger said the centre-back's eye was "very swollen."

But he was pictured in training at London Colney on Monday before the squad's trip to Paris, with the swelling having apparently eased.

Koscielny's availability would be a big boost to the Gunners, who could otherwise opt to play 20-year-old Rob Holding alongside fellow newcomer Shkodran Mustafi against French champions PSG.

Mustafi, who made his debut against Southampton, is expected to partner Koscielny again on Tuesday.
