Hector Bellerin happy with life at Arsenal, brushes off Barcelona talk

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has said he is happy at the club and brushed off speculation that he could move to Barcelona.

Bellerin, who enjoyed an outstanding season as the Gunners finished second in the Premier League, has been linked with a return to the Camp Nou, where he began his career.

Reports have suggested Barca want their ex-youth player to succeed Dani Alves, expected to leave at the end of next season.

But the Daily Mail quoted the 21-year-old as telling Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo: "I say every year that England is my home now.

"I'm very happy, so I don't see myself anywhere other than at Arsenal."

Bellerin is under contract at the Emirates until 2019, and played against Barcelona in this season's Champions League as Arsenal lost 5-1 on aggregate.

"How did it feel to play against them? For me, Barca was where I grew up since I was tiny, from eight years old," he said.

"My dream was to play at Camp Nou, and I did -- just not wearing the shirt I'd expected when I was little.

"It was something very special and beautiful."
